Our volunteers conducted a household survey among Budga Jangam, Bhai Pathar, and Ghissadi communities (Nomadic tribes living by waste collection and begging) living in Gurumitkal Taluk of Yadgir district, to collect data on the composition of the families, availability of land to construct houses for them, possession of basic identity documents, etc. 66 families were surveyed in total. The data is then given to government authorities, the media, and other NGOs to support their efforts towards improving the plight of the community.
